Giving back doesn’t need to cost you a thing. Have you ever thought about donating your time as a volunteer instead?

Not only is it an opportunity to give back to the community, but also a chance to demonstrate how important it is to unite and care for those around us. That’s why we would like to invite you to volunteer with us and do the kind deed of helping a stranger!

At Food For Change, each day volunteering looks different – from picking fresh produce, packaging goodies to send to those in need, and farming the crops. Not only will you become an integral part of our community of like minded people, but you will also have the opportunity to develop your skills, while making a meaningful contribution to those who need it most.

Food For Change has an array of volunteer opportunities, both individually and corporate. They range from in office and on farms within Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula – but if you can’t make it in-person, to one of our locations, you can volunteer remotely and help complete office tasks.

Our corporate volunteering days involve making an important contribution to the community, and are an excellent way to create important conversations around food insecurity within Australia and strengthen team bonding. The days encompass all tasks usually undertaken, including harvesting the crops and packaging the fruit and vegetables for distribution to those who need it most.

We would like everyone to feel the buzz that comes from doing good deeds and random acts of kindness!

So, if you or your organisation are interested in participating in a volunteer opportunity with Food For Change, please register your interest via our volunteer page, and a member of our team will be in contact.
